Bruce Nagel is hands down the best architect on the East End. My husband and I had very specific ideas of what we wanted our home to look and feel like. Bruce transformed our ideas into an architectural masterpiece. Bruce understood that he was designing our home for us to live in and enjoy with our family; and didn't have his own agenda, which many East End architects do. Bruce has a natural flare for color and style. With Bruce, deep thought does into the simplest of ideas. However, what we loved best about Bruce was working with him. He never pushed us to spend more than what we wanted to and if we did go over budget, it was always our choice. As a woman, I enjoyed working with Bruce and he respected my point of view. He didn't need my husband to confirm my decisions. Thank you!

Our architectural plans were in such detail as to allow several contractors to submit competitive bids on the project, and he was very helpful in evaluating the bids received to best select a contractor. He has many decades of experience and knowledge which made him an invaluable professional on our project. Bruce designed our home in Watermill N.Y. it was a wonderful experience. We started with an empty piece of land and a clean sheet of paper. Bruce looked at all our ideas and asked great questions. His design was exactly what we wanted. We did a couple sets of revisions and adjustments to fine tune the project to our budget. Bruce gave us very detailed construction drawings that kept our builders on track. The entire project went smoothly, and Bruce was always a phone call away when questions came up. All in all a great experience. We would love to build another house with Bruce.

Bruce was our architect for a complete gut renovation and major expansion of an investment beach house in East Hampton, NY. Bruce helped us modernize a 1990's home, re-configuring the original house by relocating and increasing the kitchen by 2x, adding multiple windows, raising the roof, adding a second floor, adding 3 baths, adding two large decks, re-siding entire house with new materials, adding larger gunite pool, adding cutting edge technology and security systems and excavating the basement. Under his guidance we added over 2600 square feet to a 3500 square foot house. His creative vision was perfect and completely transformed the house.
